Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds believes more needs to be done by parents and school counselors to encourage young people towards jobs in the manufacturing industry.

During a recent visit to Weiler in Knoxville, Reynolds told KNIA/KRLS News that manufacturing is different than it was 40 years ago, due to automation and technical advances in the industry, increasing the number opportunities for students. She believes students should be shown what the career path looks like and what education is needed to fulfill these types of jobs.
