Today marks the start of the 2015 Pleasantville Pig Out.
City Administrator Joe Mrstik says the event was started five years ago as a way to help fund youth activities. He says a free meal will be offered at the Pleasantville Ballfields, along with inflatables and a greased pig contest for children ages 4 to 12.
Saturday, the KNIA/KRLS Big Red Radio will be on hand broadcasting live from downtown Pleasantville during the car show, baking, and barbecue contests.
