The Knoxville Softball Squad split with Chariton last night. Game one went the Panthers way 11-1. Game two was a bit closer and a lot more exciting as Knoxville fell 10-7. The Panthers held at 7-6 lead entering the seventh inning, but four Chariton runs highlighted by a three run homer was the difference. Shaye Nicholls belted her second homer of the season. Knoxville is now 17-11 and 9-7 in the South Central Conference. The Panthers are off until Thursday when they hoist Albia in a double header.
