A portion of Main Street in Knoxville will be closing temporarily for Streetscape work.

The area between 2nd and 3rd Streets along the downtown square will be blocked off as of 12:30pm today (Thursday), so that brickwork can be properly sealed.

According to Knoxville Streets Supervisor Dennis Webb, the closure is expected to last 24 hours.
