A Knoxville felon has been given three years probation after pleading guilty to felony drug and weapons charges.

58-year-old Joe Tony Vrban pled guilty to possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, a Class C felony, felon in possession of a firearm, a Class D felony, assault causing bodily injury, possession of marijuana, and first degree harassment.

According to court documents, Marion County deputies were called to a residence on Perry Street last month, after a report of an assault where Vrban allegedly struck another man several times during a heated argument. After obtaining a search warrant, deputies found meth, firearms, and ammunition on the property.

Vrban must also pay $3,005 in fines.
