Members of the Knoxville School Board took the oath to begin their terms Monday.

The board held both their annual and organizational meetings. The annual meeting was the final one for long-time board member Tim McDonald. As he parted, McDonald said it was a neat experience that he would recommend to anyone. He thanked the community for allowing him to serve, along with Superintendent Cassi Murra and his fellow board members.

Larissa Van Donselaar replaces McDonald on the board. Leslie Miller and Mike Helle were also sworn-in and will remain president and vice-president of the board respectively for this next school year.
