The Fly-In/Drive-In Breakfast had a successful return to Knoxville Municipal Airport Saturday.

Airport manager Dan Van Donselaar says the event didn’t occur last year due to runway work.

Activities at this year’s event included Smitty’s Amusements, horse rides by Pony Express, Mercy One helicopter, and aircraft rides.

The KNIA/KRLS Big Red Radio provided music at the event. Van Donselaar says it’s a way to introduce the public to what the airport has to offer.
