Taking on NACC schools up in Wisconsin, Central volleyball salvaged a win and a loss to begin the IIAC/NACC Crossover Challenge. The Dutch were swept by Concordia, 25 – 21, 25 – 21, and 25 – 16, but finished strong against Aurora, winning in four, 20 – 25, 27 – 25, 25 – 18, and 25 – 15. Hitting at a clip of .230 for the match, Central was led in kills by freshman Melissa Miller, who set a career high with 13 in that category. Central sits with a 10 – 4 record, and they’ll conclude their stay later today against Dominican and Edgewood, with matches starting at 10:00 a.m.
