The Pella City Council will hold their organizational meeting to begin their first meeting of 2016 tonight.
The city clerk, city attorney, and mayor pro-tem will be designated, and the council will welcome newly elected councilmember Tony Bokhoven. The agenda includes review of a contract to purchase control panels for the west electric substation, an amendment to an economic development agreement with Castle Metal, and the 2nd reading of an ordinance to rezone property at 194 Franklin Street. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the Pella Public Safety Complex.
