Fairlane Bowl in Knoxville is coming down.

On Wednesday the Knoxville VA and Graham Construction will start the process of clearing the land for the future 12,800 square foot Veteran Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Knoxville. The VA says the newly constructed clinic will house Primary Care, Mental Health, Telehealth, and Specialty Services to include Podiatry, Optometry, and Audiology. The VA currently offers care to local Veterans at the current CBOC (located in Building 1 at 1515 West Pleasant Street) until the new lease space is open and ready for patients. According to the VA, the Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Asset and Enterprise Management in Washington continues to have a lease agreement of the full historical Knoxville campus with Knoxville Veterans Alliance (KVA) to develop the land under the enhanced use lease process.
