The Knoxville Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual awards ceremony at the Grand Theatre March 10. Chamber of Commerce President Ben Butler says more focus on the awards and the successes of community leaders will be an exciting change to the annual meeting.
The Impact Awards recognize community leaders in the areas of education, business, agriculture, volunteerism and also include the Matthew C. Job Pride in Knoxville Award. The event starts at 6:30pm with a cocktail and social hour in the lobby and will move into the theatre itself for the awards show at 7:30pm. Tickets are $20 with $5 going back to the theatre foundation and they can be picked up starting February 29 at the Chamber office. He says business casual attire will be fine for those wishing to attend the event.
