Knoxville Mayor Brian Hatch proclaimed National Library Week (April 10 – 16) Monday.

Hatch also read a statement emphasizing the importance of Iowa’s Libraries.National Library Week is a time to celebrate the contributions of our nation’s libraries and librarians and to promote library use and support. All types of libraries – school, public, academic and special – participate. The theme of National Library Week this year is “Libraries Transform.”
