It was officially announced at the end of last week that former Central men’s golf coach, Chad Green, would be leaving the Tulip City to start up a brand new program at the Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla, Missouri. As heard on last Monday’s Central College Radio Coaches Corner on 92.1 KRLS, Coach Green said the beginning of his six-year tenure at Central was a bit nervewracking, but the talent he was surrounded by made him feel right at home in no time. Green adds he was proud of a few records that were broken while he was in charge; Desmond Stoll breaking the single-season scoring average record, and breaking the lowest team total score at the Division III National Tournament in Florida a few years ago. KNIA/KRLS Sports wishes Coach Chad Green the best of luck in his future endeavors.
