The Pella 4th of July Committee is accepting entries for the 2016 parade.

This year’s parade starts at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, July 4th, and will take place along Franklin Street from East 2nd to West 3rd. Adults that want to submit an entry for the parade should call 4th of July Committee Chair Paul Kingma, who says they’d like to see a few different types of additional vehicles in this year’s parade. Kids who are interested in being a part of the event can show up the day of to participate. Supervision will be provided and prizes will be awarded.
