Pleasantville Volleyball didn’t have the season they wanted to have last year.
A 2015 season that saw only two wins on the year is something the Trojans would like to forget. With five Seniors graduating from the team of 12, the 2016 Trojans look to build off of their 7 returning players. Returning Juniors Corinne Thomas and Kylee VanHaalen along with Senior Kaitlin Martin look to be big pieces of the puzzle that could help to rebuild this Trojan program. Those three returning Trojans averaged 68 sets, 32 kills and 192 attack attempts between the three a year ago. With that play and a fresh coaching philosophy with new head coach Jennifer Douma, this Trojan team could be prime and ready to build a winning tradition going forward. The Trojans open their 2016 season on the road at Chariton on August 25th.
