The Pella Fire Department is honoring the victims of the 9/11 terror attacks with a special display today.
Fire Chief Doug Van Gorkom tells KNIA/KRLS News they plan to hang a large American flag next to their fire station over Main Street.
Van Gorkom says they intend to remember those who were killed in the attacks, and the firefighters, police, and emergency responders who put their lives on the line to help save people caught in the destruction.
Sunday marks the 15th anniversary since the deadliest terror attack in history of the United States.
