New mental health resources will be available for Marion County veterans with the completion of the Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Knoxville.

CBOC Coordinator Maureen Nichols tells KNIA/KRLS News mental health continues to be a focus of the organization and special rooms have been included in the CBOC to better meet the needs of veterans with mental health needs. Additions include large consultation rooms so that veterans family members can comfortably join them and offer support and rooms designed for two or more care providers working with a single patient to meet and coordinate care. The CBOC is scheduled for completion in January of 2017.
