The PCM Mustangs took care of business Friday night as the Mustangs would take control of the Clarke Indians in the first three minutes of the game in a dominating 73-8 win.
With the win on Senior night the Mustangs finish the regular season 8-1 overall and 6-0 in district play as they wrapped up the Class 2A District 6 Championship a week ago. The Mustangs would score on the second offensive play of the game and would never look back. PCM would recover four fumbles on the ensuing kick offs and before you could blink an eye, PCM was in complete control of the game. The distractions of Senior night and all they hype surrounding the 8th ranked Mustangs did not stop this PCM Mustang team from establishing themselves as real state title contenders in Class 2A. The Mustangs will have to find out later this morning as to who they play in the first round of the state play offs this coming Friday.
