Marion County first responders assisted Warren County officials early yesterday evening at a fatality on Highway 92 west of the Marion County line near Beech in Warren County.

Warren County Sheriff Brian Vos tells KNIA/KRLS news an individual crossed the centerline and hit the guardrail of the bridge abutment of the railroad overpass. The name of the victim has not been released pending notification of family. Sheriff Vos says the investigation of the incident continues, and the Office of the State Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy. Highway 92 was closed for over an hour. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office and Pleasantville Emergency Services assisted at the scene.
