In response to the tragedy at the Pella Walmart in which three were killed and others injured, a community prayer gathering was held last night at First Christian Reformed Church in Pella.

They welcomed store employees, their families, and anyone in the community to pray for those affected.

Pastor Brad Meinders led the brief service aimed to heal the more than 100 people in attendance grieving. During an extended prayer, anyone who wished to speak could do so and had a chance to share their feelings aloud.
