The Marion County Conservation Board will be collecting discarded Christmas trees in Knoxville Tuesday, January 3 from 8:00 a.m. to noon.
The Conservation Board asks trees be placed next to the curb before 8:00 a.m. Trees should be free of decorations, tree stands, metal fasteners and tinsel. They should not be in plastic bags.There will be a Christmas tree drop-off site located at Marion County Park near the entrance until January 20. All trees will be used for wildlife cover and fishery habitat in Conservation Board areas. This pickup is for City of Knoxville residents only.
