Head coach Mike Norman says that the key word for the Pella High girls bowling team is ‘improvement’.

Several members of this year’s squad are first year participants, and their only bowling experience is recreational. He says that those ladies have been improving day-by-day, and that’s carrying over to the veterans who are feeding off that enthusiasm.

“This is the first time that we’re actually able to field a full team which is great. And the fact that their second meet out, that they could get a win, and that they’ve been improving every week, that’s what I like to see out of them. The scores are getting better and better.”

The Lady Dutch will have plenty of practice time this week and next week to keep improving before they return to the lanes on Saturday, January 7th, against Knoxville.
