Melcher-Dallas Softball Squad took Thursday’s game in dramatic fashion, with a 2-1 walk-off victory over Seymour in ten innings. The game was tied at one with the Saints batting in the bottom of the tenth when Haley Godfrey singled. The pitching was strong as Melcher-Dallas’s Emilie Krpan struck out 20 while scattering seven hits over ten innings. Gracie Mann was 2/3 with an R-B-I. The Melcher-Dallas Baseball Squad smashed Seymour in five innings 12-0. The Saints hung 11 runs on the third innings to take any chance of a Seymour win out of the question. Paul Karpan homered and got the win on the mound. The Saints are 9-10 on the season and will travel to Lamoni tonight.
