Both Pleasantville summer teams blew out conference rival Bedford at home last night, with the softball team winning 12-2, and the baseball team 16-1.

Abby DeJoode threw a three hitting in the circle and struck out six to earn the win, while Andie Sowers was 2-3 with a pair of RBI and Hannah Hatch 2-4 with a RBI. The Baseball team how now won two in a row after a five game skid, needing only four innings to take out the Bulldogs. Kyle Amendt was the winning pitcher on the mound, while Grant Fouch was 2-2 and Amendt helped out his own cause with a 2-3 day at the dish with four RBI. The Softball team will next play this afternoon in a tournament in Melcher, while the baseball team waits until next Tuesday to take on Central Decatur.
