Last year the Pella Christian girls Cross Country team qualified for state for the first time in twenty years. This year will be a much different look however as four of those girls have graduated and their leading returner has been lost to injury before the season has even started according to Pella Christian Cross Country Coach Jocelyn Meinders. Meinders notes she does have some younger runners that are looking good so far leading into the season and may have a couple freshman running at the varsity level. On the boys side leading the way will be Josh Miller who qualified for state as an individual last year. Meinders says she looks for the boys to be pretty competitive this season. Pella Christian starts their season September 5th at the Pella Invitational at Central College.
