As visitors and race fans fill area hotels and campsites during the 57th Annual Knoxville Nationals, the Knoxville Hy-Vee is doing what they can to keep the shelves stocked and customers happy.

Store Manager Brett Shelman tells KNIA/KRLS News with the amount of people the Nationals brings in and the size of the Knoxville Hy-Vee, he has to think outside the box. Shelman says the store will keep more trailers on hand filled with supplies to keep the shelves stocked. He says the store starts preparing for the week of Nationals about a month and a half in advance. With so many campers filling area campsites, water and ice are on high demand as well. Shelman says the store will sell 2,000 cases of water and 15 tons of ice throughout the week. Shelman says it is essential for any Knoxville business to have a great relationship with the Knoxville Raceway and all of its fans.
