Donny Schatz has taken back his top spot in the sprint car world. Schatz won the 57th Annual Five Hour Energy Knoxville Nationals Saturday night leading the final 27 laps after David Gravel, who was blowing everyone away broke a drive line while leading on lap 22. Schatz assumed the lead and looked to be sailing through lapped traffic, however a slight bobble allowed Kyle Larson to quickly close the gap and had one final chance out of turn four on the final lap, but could not make it stick on the bottom. Kerry Madsen challenged early but settled for third with Shane Stewart and Brad Sweet completing the top five.
