Pella Christian’s coaching staff is searching for the right answer at quarterback during the time leading up to week one against PCM.
After one of the state’s all-time leading passers David Kacmarynski graduated, he left a leadership and skill void at the most important position on a football field.
Head Coach Rich Kacmarynski says two candidates have emerged to fill those very large shoes.
“Right now we’re rotating both the quarterbacks – Brett Roose and Noah Treimer. So, we’re still kind of in a two man race there at quarterback.”
Treimer was a starting defensive back and kick returner in 2016, and Roose saw playing time as the quarterback during multiple Eagles’ blowouts a year ago.
The Eagles will continue to test out both juniors as they approach their week one contest against the rival Mustangs on Friday, August 25th.
