While many new faces will take the field for the Eagles football team this fall, the squad is returning crucial athletes at the line of scrimmage.
Head Coach Rich Kacmarynski says the offensive line will be a strength of the team this season, which will help immensely with less experienced skill players figuring out their roles.
Kacmarynski says they anticipate a lot of running room and passing time for quarterbacks learning the varsity game.
“One of the exciting things about our offense is that we have a big core of our offensive line back. We have Alex Huisman, Connor De Bruin and Kolton Chapman all back that started for us last year. We also have a couple of juniors in Koby Van Houweling and Jacob Kelderman who are stepping forward. I think we can be as good on the o-line as we’ve been in my 10 years here, and that’s a good place to start.”
Pella Christian will start the season this Friday against familiar foe PCM.
