Knoxville High School will be hosting “Military Appreciation Night” this evening when the Panthers host the Fairfield Trojans at Ken Locke Stadium.

All active and nonactive military are invited to be a part tonight’s game. Military personnel are invited to be a part of the “Panther Walk” with the varsity football team starting at 6:10 p.m. as the team walks from the high school to Ken Lock Stadium. Military personnel will also be admitted free to the game and will be lined up on the field before the National Anthem to be recognized. The most senior veteran participating in tonight’s event will be invited to be the night’s honorary captain and will take part in the coin toss before the game with the rest of the team captains.
