The Marion County Development Commission (MCDC) announced the names of the Top 10 under 40 for 2017.
This is the first year for this award in the Red Rock Area. The purpose of the program is to showcase the contributions young adults under the age of 40 are making within area companies, highlight the impact young adults have on local communities, encourage all young professionals to become involved as volunteers, and promote the benefits for young adults to live and work in Marion County. The Marion County Development Commission received nominations for the awards and the organizations’ commissioners reviewed recommendations to select the final top 10.

EMPLOYER: Insurance Agent/Financial Advisor, McKay Insurance Agency
VOLUNTEER: Todd’s volunteer involvement currently includes the Knoxville Hospital & Clinics Board of Trustees, Rotary, NAIFA and MDRT. Over the years, Mr. Chambers has been involved with serving on the board of directors for the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce, Pine Knolls Country Club and Knoxville Hospital Foundation.

VOLUNTEER: Most recently, Dave graduated from Leadership Red Rock in 2016 and is currently working within the area to help pilot a Young Professionals group in Knoxville. When he lived in South Dakota, he was a first responder, volunteer firefighter and certified as a National Wildlife Firefighter with Coyote1 National Firefighting task force. Locally, he has volunteered at the Marion County Fair.
