Des Moines Area Community College and Marion County Public Health will bring English as a Second Language Classes to Knoxville with classes starting tomorrow.

DMACC Academic Advisor Andrea Gotta tells KNIA/KRLS News the classes are for anyone 18 and older who speak minimal english. She says participants will be given an assessment prior to the class to help assess their english speaking level. Classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Marion County Public Health with the first class set to begin at 9 a.m. tomorrow. Classes will run through Thursday, November 30th from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The classes are free to anyone who wishes to attend.
