Four area teams ran at Lynnville-Sully last night and finished well with mid season approaching. The Pella Christian boys team finished in second just three points behind Pekin, with PCM in 7th and Pleasantville in 12th. On the girls side, PCM led area teams with a third place finish and Pleasantville finished in 12th.
Individually, Lucas Bandstra of Pella Christian placed fourth while teammate Nathan Vermeer finished 9th, Pleasantville’s Josh Pulse was the Trojans top finisher in 10th place, while Jason Stafford finished in 11th for the Mustangs. Emma Kolb was the second place finisher for the Pella Christian Eagles on the girls side, PCM had three runners in the top 18 led by Kirsten Ives in 10th, and Pleasantville treated the meet as an opportunity to rest their tired legs and train, where Jordan Dursky finished in 139th.
