A few turnovers slowed their start, but the Eagles came roaring to easily take care of Interstate 35 45-10 in a game heard live on KNIAKRLS.com.

Pella Christian fell behind early 7-0, and then 10-7, but over two plus quarters scored 38 unanswered points to turn the contest into a blowout.

The pivotal play in the game came with Noah Treimer just before the end of the 1st period when he busted off a highlight reel 67 yard play. Head Coach Rich Kacmarynski tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he was impressed with his team’s ability to dig out of a hole and take control.

Treimer finished with 188 yards and two scores, and Hayden Vroom went 8-for-14 passing with two touchdowns.

Pella Christian remains perfect at 4-0 and hosts Mount Ayr next week during alumni night.
