Marion County volunteers were honored Monday at the 34th Annual Governor’s Awards Ceremony at Southeast Polk High School.

Marion County Emergency Management Coordinator Jeff Anderson, Myles and Mary Jane Murphy, Don and Margaret Long, and Chuck Reeves all received their awards from Governor Kim Reynolds. The American Legion Post 168 of Knoxville also received an award as well, and they received a standing ovation while being honored. More than 600 Governor’s Awards are being presented this year during ceremonies held across the state.
