At the Annual Business Meeting of the Professional Developers of Iowa (PDI), the membership elected Carla Eysink with the Marion County Development Commission as the President of the Association beginning November 1st.

Eysink will serve a one-year term. Founded in 1973, with current membership of over 320, PDI is an organization dedicated to advancing the professionalism of its members through a wide range of programs and services. The 2004 Iowa Tourism Leadership Award recipient, Carla Eysink, has been employed by the Marion County Development Commission in Knoxville for the past 21 years. During this time, Eysink has served in leadership roles for the Central Iowa Tourism Region, Iowa Group Travel Association, Travel Federation of Iowa and Pella Community Foundation.
