Last season, the coaching staff at Twin Cedars knew they would have to replace the entire offensive and defensive lines for this football season. The inexperience showed early, but Coach Aaron Allspach tells KNIA/KRLS Sports they improved throughout the season. Now, the Sabers will have to replace nearly all of their skill positions, starting with quarterback. Allspach tells KNIA/KRLS Sports, Nick Haselhuhn will be hard to replace. Haselhun’s career stats were very impressive as he ran for 588 career yards and eight touchdowns, passed for 4,155 yards and 51 touchdowns. Total offense for Haselhuhn amounted to 4,743 yards and accounted for 59 touchdowns while helping lead the Sabers to a combined 19-11 record.
