It was an all-around solid night for the Eagles as they cruised to a 3-0 (25-15, 25-16, 25-13) win over Pekin in the Class 2A Region 5 semifinals last night.

Pella Christian controlled the match wire-to-wire, and had 10 point and 7 point rallies in the 1st and 2nd sets to pull away.

They also paced the service game all night, with 10 aces–three each from Reann Fopma and Emma Huisman, and had Morgan Fopma tallied seven kills on offense.

The Eagles will travel to Grinnell Tuesday in the Regional Final against No. 3 Grundy Center. Pella Christian is looking for their first trip to state since 2010.
