Senator Amy Sinclair and Representative Greg Heartsill will take part in a legislative discussion today at the Knoxville High School media center at 5:30 p.m.

The legislators will share their priorities for the upcoming legislative session and what the focus of their work has been in preparation for the session. Members of the school board and school district staff will also share their priorities and special projects with the legislators and ask them for their support during the upcoming session. Superintendent Cassi Pearson tells KNIA/KRLS News the school district is excited the legislators are willing to join the school district for the discussion before the session begins and she looks forward to what they can accomplish in the upcoming year. If attendance for the discussion results in a larger crowd, the discussion will be relocated to the Knoxville Performing Arts Center.
