Those doing their last minute shopping before Christmas dinner at the Pella Hy-Vee are encouraged to support the Pella Community Food Shelf.

Store Director Derek Sparks says they will accept donations of a wide range of items in their drop off box near the front entrance of the store. Sparks says they had a lot of success with customers supporting the KNIA/KRLS Holiday Food Drive, and he’s thankful to those who made donations and continue to support the food shelf year-round.
