The coldest temperatures of the year are here in time for the holiday.

Lows this morning will likely be in the single digits to teens statewide. Daytime highs won’t be much better, with many struggling to get out of the teens, according to the National Weather SErvice. Wind chills will be below zero across the state at day break on Tuesday and Wednesday morning as well.

Regardless of any activities planned, residents are reminded to dress accordingly and stay warm to avoid any possible frost bite.
