KNIA/KRLS News reported a burglary occuring in Knoxville which resulted in the arrest of two woman following a vehicle collision on Thursday.
Following further investigation, two more Knoxville residents have been arrested in connection with the burglary. According to court documents, Desiray Null, 19 and Hannah McCarty 19, both of Knoxville, were arrested on Wednesday. Null is alleged to have been at the scene at the time of the burglary and collision, but fled the scene on foot prior to the arrival of law enforcement. Following further investigation and an execution of a search warrant by the Knoxville Police Department, $120 of the $300 stolen was located in McCarty’s bedroom at her residence in Knoxville. Both Null and McCarty were charged with 2nd degree burglary through joint criminal conduct, a class C felony. Additionally, Null was charged with unlawful possession of prescription drugs and two counts of possession of a controlled substance. McCarty was also charged with possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
