The Knoxville Boys Basketball Squad will take their best record since the 2002 Panthers squad finished with a 15-7 record into postseason next week. That is the record of the current Panthers and they would love to improve on that starting Monday night in the class 3A District. Knoxville has had a goal all season of getting to the state tournament and this is their best chance since the 2002 season when they reached the Sub State only to fall to Saydel. Coach Jeff Larson tells KNIA/KRLS Sports, he is pleased overall with the season, but knows there is still more work to be done. Knoxville gets that second season underway Monday night against Fairfield, the team the Panthers ended the regular season with on Thursday. Game time is at 6:30 from Oskaloosa. You can hear it live on AM 1320 and 95.3 KNIA starting at six.
