The Knoxville Heritage Community Foundation is taking grant applications from groups in Knoxville that are looking to improve the city with small projects.

The foundation helps groups improve the city by giving funding to small projects. Maggie Hamilton-Beyer, who is with the foundation says the group is taking applications and the applications are short and easy to fill out. She says the applications need to be returned by April 15th. The Knoxville Heritage Foundation is a non-profit group established in 1985 by Knoxville citizens that wanted to improve their city while also leaving a legacy.
