Pella’s boys begin their playoff journey tonight in the Class 3A district opening round.

The 19-2 Dutch host winless Saydel following the conclusion of Carlisle vs. Nevada.

Assistant Coach Phil Hemming says despite the Eagles’ struggles in 2017, the Little Dutch are treating this matchup the same as they would if a top ten team was coming to the floor.

“We approaching this game like we’re number one and they’re number two, really, we are” Hemming says. “We broke down film, we know their set plays, we know what their tendencies are offensively and defensively.”
