The Marion County Public Health Department will be holding a free screening of the movie Paper Tigers on Thursday, April 27th.
The screening will take place at the Marion County Public Health Department located at 2003 North Lincoln Street in Knoxville. Paper Tigers is a film that takes a look into the lives of selected high school students at Lincoln High School, an alternative school that specializes in educating traumatized youth in Walla Walla, Washington. Paper Tigers captures the pain, the danger, the beauty, and the hope of struggling teens and the teachers armed with new science and fresh approaches that are changing their lives for the better. The screening will begin at 6 p.m. and will be followed by a discussion and call to action.
