The Knoxville High School is now ahead of the state average for graduation rate.
The graduation rate for Iowa high school students is at 91.3%. A percentage that has increased for the fifth year in a row. Like the state, Knoxville High School has seen their graduation rate increase for the past 4 years. Superintendent Cassi Pearson tells KNIA/KRLS News the graduating class in 2013 had a 86.5% graduation rate, in 2015 it was at 89.4% and in 2016 it was 94.12% The 94.12% graduation rate for Knoxville High School shows a 7.62% increase over the past 4 years as compared to the state’s 1.6% increase over the same time. Knoxville is now ahead of the state rate by 2.82%.
