The Pella City Council will consider a policy at their meeting Tuesday that aims to collect outstanding parking fines.
The resolution would create a 28E Agreement with the Marion County Treasurer for collection of past due and delinquent parking citations, which, if council
approves this resolution, the Marion County Treasurer will not renew any vehicle registration if they are aware of past due or delinquent parking citations.
An engineering services agreement is also under consideration, which would be the beginning of the process of potentially adding traffic signals on the eastbound exit ramp of Highway 163 at Washington Street.
A resolution approving architectural services for Caldwell Park improvements is also on the agenda.
The Pella City Council meets Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Public Safety Complex on Liberty Street.
