The Knoxville Rotary Club donated over $15,000 to Knoxville Hospital and Clinics for updates to the hospital’s infusion center.
President elect for the Knoxville Rotary Club T. Waldman Williams tells KNIA/KRLS News the reason for the donation is because Rotary is always looking for something that will support and move our community ahead.
CEO of the Knoxville Hospital and Clinics Kevin Kincaid tells KNIA/KRLS News the donation gave the hospital new blanket warmers and a new crash cart for the infusion center as well as being able to use resources to make the infusion center safer.
The hospital infusion center provides outpatient infusion therapy for the convenience of patients who require frequent intravenous medications. The center provides outpatient infusions and injection services in a comfortable setting for patients who do not require hospitalization, but need to receive treatments.
