The Knoxville City Council will meet in regular session Monday.

The Council will hold a public hearing to discuss adopting an amendment of the zoning ordinance. Following the public hearing Mayor Brian Hatch will read three separate proclamations for Public Works Week, Police Week and Emergency Medical Services Week. The council will then consider a street closure request for the Knoxville Public Library Capital Campaign Kick-off event. During the meeting the council will discuss a Knoxville Chamber of Commerce request to help mail brochures, as well as three different tourism committee grant requests. The council will also review a special events request from Habitat for Humanity of Marion County. At the end of the meeting the council will look to approve the bid for demolition of the water reclamation facility farmhouse. The meeting will begin at 6:15 p.m. inside the Municipal Building Council Chamber.
